As a Security Officer Badge Access in Augusta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage badge access, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming workplace. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor entry and exit points at a manufacturing and industrial location; verify credentials, authorize access according to site procedures, and maintain visitor and contractor records.
- Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Document daily activities, access-related incidents, and irregular conditions in required reports and logs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
