Security Officer - Auto Patrol

As a Security Officer - Auto Patrol in Aurora, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading automotive location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the automotive facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter trespassing or other unauthorized actions.
• Document observations and incidents as required by post orders and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Assist employees, visitors, and/or contractors with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
• Remain alert to unusual activities or hazards in the environment and promptly report any concerns to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
