Security Officer - Central Dispatch

As a Security Officer Central Dispatch in Aurora, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Professional supporting a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, document incidents, and help guide timely responses to security-related concerns. In this fast-paced role, you will combine strong customer service and communication with an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, while working with a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor radios, phones, alarms, and other communication systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and coordinate the assignment of personnel across the location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, relaying accurate information to on-site teams, management, and/or emergency services as needed.
- Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, helping to support follow-up on security-related concerns, access issues, and/or operational disruptions.
- Conduct regular and random monitoring of the business and perimeter through available systems and coordinate patrol activity or response coverage as needed based on site conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
