Security Officer - Dispatch Operator

As a Security Officer Dispatch Operator in Aurora, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional supporting a dynamic retail and mall location. In this role, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and help guide timely responses to security-related concerns while delivering outstanding customer service. You will be part of a caring team that values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity, making a meaningful impact each day through clear communication and strong situational awareness.

- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, supporting security-related communications, and coordinating appropriate emergency response activities for the location.
- Monitor phones, radios, alarms, cameras, and other communication systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and relay information to on-site personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Dispatch officers and/or site personnel to incidents, service requests, and priority situations, helping to support timely response across the property and surrounding areas.
- Prepare and maintain accurate logs, incident reports, visitor-related records, and other dispatch documentation in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site policies.
- Support regular and random patrol operations by tracking officer status, communicating coverage needs, and helping to coordinate responses to after-hours issues, access concerns, and unusual activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR certification preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
