Security Officer - Media Studio Rover

As a Security Officer - Media Studio Rover in Aurora, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and badge checks. You will complete routine rounds, document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points, verify authorization for entry, and direct deliveries and/or contractors to appropriate check-in procedures in accordance with site policy.
• Complete security-related reports such as shift logs, incident documentation, and patrol activity notes, and communicate relevant updates to the next shift and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
