Security Officer - Unarmed Financial Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Financial Patrol in Aurora, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure atmosphere for all occupants. You will remain highly visible, provide exceptional customer service, and respond promptly to any security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by conducting regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, including both indoor and outdoor areas as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as appropriate according to site protocols.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to maintain authorized entry in accordance with site procedures.
• Document and report security-related incidents, suspicious activities, and/or hazards to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site leadership or Allied Universal management.
• Maintain a professional presence and demonstrate strong communication skills while interacting with employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
