As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access activity and visitor entry in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain orderly movement throughout the location.
- Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
