As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol CPR Ready in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor alarm panels, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring environment for patients, visitors, and staff. At Allied Universal, you will work with an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare manufacturing location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production and warehouse areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, or facility concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, maintain accurate logs, and assist with controlling entry to restricted areas.
- Complete detailed reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
