Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol First Aid Response Job in Austin, Texas

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol First Aid Response in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
- Communicate clearly with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
