Security Officer Patrol Support Desk

As a Security Officer Patrol Support Desk in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site awareness through strong communication and customer service. At Allied Universal, you will be part of a caring, agile, and reliable team that puts people first, works with integrity, and brings an innovative approach to daily operations.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report suspicious activity, unsecured access points, and/or potential hazards.
- Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry, provide directions and assistance to visitors, and support a professional atmosphere throughout the location.
- Complete routine reports and document incidents, patrol findings, and/or notable activity according to Allied Universal guidelines and location procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
