Security Officer Patrol
As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Allied Universal officer at a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist patients, visitors, and staff with professional communication and customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper channels when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, while maintaining awareness of daily activity, visitor movement, and/or after-hours access.
- Document observations, incidents, and/or policy-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and location contacts as appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
