In this position, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to support a secure environment for both employees and visitors. You will be responsible for responding to security-related situations with professionalism and providing outstanding customer service, while maintaining open and courteous communication with all individuals you encounter. As this is an armed and driving post, you will be equipped to handle situations requiring a higher level of preparedness, and you will operate company or client vehicles as part of your patrol duties. Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide assistance to visitors, employees, and/or customers as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and client requirements.
• Work collaboratively with store management and law enforcement when required, following all protocols for armed security-related posts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Hold a Level III armed certification for Texas.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
