Security Officer - Production Facility Patrol

As a Security Officer - Production Facility Patrol in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a food and beverage production location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and foster a secure environment. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver exceptional customer service while communicating clearly with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, including areas such as loading docks, production floors, and storage facilities, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for any unusual or suspicious behavior, reporting findings according to site protocols.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities clearly and accurately in daily reports.
• Support the enforcement of site rules and policies, assisting staff and visitors as needed within the food and beverage environment.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and site leadership regarding incidents and ongoing security-related matters.
• Assist with emergency response procedures, including evacuations and/or medical emergencies, following established protocols specific to the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
• A college degree is required.
• Five or more years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
