As a Security Officer Morning Shift in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas, entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe foot traffic to help to deter unauthorized entry, support visitor management practices, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.
- Support opening and closing activities, assist with alarm-related responses and/or after-hours procedures, and provide visible presence throughout the location in accordance with post orders and client site expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
