Security Officer Full Time Driver Perimeter Inspection Job in Bartow, Florida

As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Perimeter Inspection in Bartow, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, drive as needed, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a secure environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach while responding to security-related concerns.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle access in accordance with site-specific entry requirements and access-control procedures.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activity, and other security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- A guard card is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
