As a Elite Security Officer Full Time Morning Shift in Bastrop, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor and report unusual conditions, potential hazards, and security-related concerns; document patrol activities and incidents in accordance with site procedures.
- Maintain readiness and professional handling of assigned equipment while working in varied indoor and outdoor conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have three or more years of experience as a Military Police Officer, Corrections Officer, or Armed Security Professional, or be a Certified Law Enforcement Graduate.
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
- Type a minimum of 40 words per minute.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
