Security Officer Warehouse Control Access Patrol Job in Bayside, New York

As a Security Officer Warehouse Control Access Patrol in Bayside, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will help create a welcoming environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and assisting residents and visitors. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and delivery records in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to access-control concerns, resident requests, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- Previous access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
