Security Officer Mobile Patrol

As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activities with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and restricted zones to help identify potential hazards, policy concerns, and/or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor documentation, and document security-related events, observations, and daily activity in accordance with site policies.
- Support emergency and evacuation procedures, help maintain order during operational disruptions, and report maintenance, environmental, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate site personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
