Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Job in Baytown, Texas

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, process areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor and report access-control concerns, restricted-area activity, damaged barriers, and other security-related issues in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicate with appropriate personnel, and document observations and actions taken.
- Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while following applicable site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
