As a Security Officer - Tech/Media Patrol Full-Time in Bellevue, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment, you will monitor assigned locations and conduct frequent patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and professional communication will help create a positive atmosphere for employees and visitors. You will interact with people from diverse backgrounds, providing outstanding customer service while remaining alert to situations that may require your attention. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, hazards, or unusual situations at the location.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or site personnel regarding security-related matters as necessary.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries and directions in a professional manner.
• Follow all instructions and protocols as outlined by Allied Universal and the client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
