As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Front Desk in Bellevue, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at a dynamic tech and media location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access, assisting visitors and employees, and helping to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and excellent communication. You will provide outstanding customer service while managing entry protocols and utilizing technology to support daily operations. Pay Rate: $21.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist employees, visitors, and guests at the front desk, providing a professional and welcoming presence.
• Verify identification and manage access control procedures for all individuals entering the location, in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or security-related incidents.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of visitor and employee check-ins and check-outs.
• Respond calmly and efficiently to incidents and critical situations, following established protocols and escalating issues as needed.
• Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and emergency personnel to relay information and instructions.
• Remain alert and attentive while stationed at the front desk to observe and report any unusual activity.
• Support Allied Universal and client management by carrying out security-related tasks as directed in a technology-driven environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
