Security Officer Full Time Corporate Office Job in Bethesda, Maryland

As a Security Officer Full Time Corporate Office in Bethesda, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic hotel and resort location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to alarms. You will provide exceptional guest service and clear communication while contributing to a secure, welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while communicating with appropriate hotel personnel and emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of hotel guest areas, entrances, parking areas, service corridors, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Complete accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and provide professional assistance to guests and staff as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
