What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues to site leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout guest areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery areas in accordance with location protocols, offering courteous assistance and clear direction when needed.
- Support hotel and resort operations during high-traffic periods, special events, and after-hours activity by maintaining a visible presence and communicating with staff and/or emergency services when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
