As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will drive throughout assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with professionalism. You will also provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to shoppers, employees, and visitors. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter theft, trespassing, and other prohibited activity.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Monitor for suspicious behavior, unauthorized access, and policy violations, and document incidents through accurate reports.
- Carry and maintain an assigned firearm in accordance with Allied Universal standards, licensing requirements, and applicable laws.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
