As a Security Officer - Front Desk in Bloomington, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a dynamic food and beverage location, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and secure environment for employees and visitors. Your primary responsibilities include monitoring building access, verifying credentials, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting with security-related inquiries. You will be the first point of contact, helping to deter potential incidents through your presence and professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Greet and assist visitors and employees in a professional manner at the front desk of a food and beverage facility.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Carry out security-related procedures and respond to incidents or critical situations calmly and using problem-solving skills.
• Communicate with site personnel and the Allied Universal team regarding any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Support emergency response activities as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service while upholding the security-related policies and standards of the location.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of daily activities and security-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
