Security Officer Site Monitor - Overnight

As a Security Officer Access Relief in Blythewood, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a strong presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will be part of a caring team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, working with integrity to support people, property, and daily operations.

- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify entry and exit activity, and report unauthorized persons, vehicles, and/or conditions according to site-specific protocols.
- Support day-to-day operations by observing workplace activity, reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy concerns, and assisting with orderly incident response when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience is required.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
