As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Observation in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, employee access, and directions while maintaining a professional and helpful presence.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
