As a Security Officer Armed Driver Visitor Processing in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a residential community, you will monitor access points, verify visitors, and conduct routine patrols to help maintain a secure environment. This driving post offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with residents and guests, and respond to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry points, verify authorization in accordance with community procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and delivery records.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate contacts and emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, amenities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Communicate professionally with residents and site management, document observations and incidents, and provide clear shift pass-down information.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
