Security Officer - Armed Overnight Verification

- Provide customer service to members, guests, visitors, and staff by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, authorize access for approved individuals, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with post instructions.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions that could require a security-related response.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard and unarmed guard card is required.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma/GED as required by the client.
- Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
