Security Officer Full Time Credential Verification Job in Boca Raton, Florida

As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Verification in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, where you will help manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor assigned areas, and conduct routine patrols. Your visible presence, strong communication, and customer service skills will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related records.
- Screen and document incoming and outgoing trucks, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures and applicable food distribution requirements.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unauthorized access and unusual activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
