Security Officer - Part Time Access Control

- Provide customer service to guests, residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a resort location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas in a calm, professional manner.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations with sound judgment, clear communication, and a problem-solving approach.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the property, lobbies, amenities, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
- Document security-related activities, access-related incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
