Join Allied Universal as a Residential Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol a condominium community, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to property management and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including common areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor access in accordance with property policies, and help to deter unauthorized persons from entering restricted areas.
- Complete routine reports and document incidents, observations, and/or policy violations while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
