Security Officer Site Access

As a Security Officer Site Access in Boiling Springs, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an educational location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will contribute to a caring, agile, and reliable team that values innovation, teamwork, and acting with integrity every day.

- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within an educational location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to supervisors and/or designated campus contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe campus activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, assist with directional questions, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations.
- Support daily operations during classes, events, and high-traffic periods by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and assisting with security-related concerns as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
