Security Officer - Courthouse Patrol
As a Security Officer - Courthouse Patrol in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. In this people-first role, you will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while bringing agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity to every shift.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help support authorized access, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
- Complete routine reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate clearly with supervisors, site representatives, and/or first responders regarding security-related events and daily activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
