As a Security Officer - Government Site Patrol in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a security-related professional in a government location, you will patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence to all visitors and personnel. You will conduct routine patrols, support a secure environment, and deliver exceptional customer service while communicating clearly with clients and teammates. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to assist in maintaining order at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding incidents or security-related matters.
  • Document all incidents and activities thoroughly and accurately according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist with access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the location.
  • Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times to provide a visible security-related presence.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
