Security Officer - Weekday Mornings

As a Security Officer Lobby Access Associate in Coraopolis, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will welcome visitors, manage access and badge activity, monitor the front entrance, and support security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. In this highly visible role, you will reflect our agile, reliable, and innovative approach while working with integrity and a people-first, team-driven culture.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access at the front desk by greeting guests, verifying identification and/or visitor information, and documenting arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with location guidelines.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Support a professional lobby and reception area presence at a technology-focused location while helping to deter unauthorized access through attentive observation and consistent application of security-related procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
