Security Professional - Logistics Site Patrol

As a Security Professional - Logistics Site Patrol in Lawnside, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a secure environment for people and property. Your presence and communication skills will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere while you conduct routine patrols and maintain visibility throughout the site. You will engage with employees, visitors, and vendors, providing exceptional customer service and demonstrating our company values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation every day.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or maintenance needs within the logistics and distribution environment.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing information and following access control procedures as required.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with Allied Universal management, client representatives, and local authorities as needed.
• Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with company and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience working in environments with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or rustic guard shacks is preferred.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
