Security Officer Weekday Afternoons

As a Security Officer Entry Control Specialist in Monaca, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will manage access control, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, people first, and always acting with integrity.

- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to control access for employees, contractors, and approved guests.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to post orders and site procedures.
- Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, gates, and perimeter locations as directed, with attention to restricted areas and access control concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
