You may conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Monitor radio, telephone, alarm, and/or camera systems from the dispatch post, receive incoming reports, and communicate security-related information to on-site personnel in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Coordinate responses to incidents, equipment issues, and/or critical situations by dispatching appropriate personnel, relaying updates, and documenting activity in required logs and reports.
- Maintain accurate records of calls for service, incident notifications, visitor and/or contractor activity, and other dispatch-related communications according to site procedures.
- Support regular and random patrol activity by tracking officer status, relaying assignments, and helping to deter unauthorized activity through timely communication and attention to changing site conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
