As a Security Officer Full Time Access Event Review in Nazareth, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through professional communication and customer service while reporting security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour
Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.Alarm Panel Experience (B202)
Candidates must demonstrate experience in operating and managing alarm panel systems. This includes knowledge of alarm activation, deactivation, and troubleshooting procedures.Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
Candidates should be proficient in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes familiarity with software applications, data entry, and communication tools.Customer Service Experience (B219)
Candidates must possess strong customer service skills, with a proven track record of effectively addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.Loss Prevention (B210)
Candidates should have experience or knowledge in loss prevention strategies and practices. This includes understanding theft prevention techniques and the ability to identify suspicious behavior.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Monitor and control access to the distribution location by verifying credentials, authorizing entry in accordance with site procedures, and maintaining visitor and vehicle entry records.
- Screen incoming and outgoing trucks, trailers, and personnel as directed, helping to support controlled movement through gates, docks, and restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
