Security Officer Access Concierge

In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence, strong communication, and dependable service, while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, teamwork, innovation, and integrity.

- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control protocols, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitors and deliveries, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, shipping and receiving areas, trailer lots, and perimeter, with duties based on site conditions and operational needs.
- Support day-to-day access management by observing site activity, reporting unusual conditions, and following post orders related to employees, contractors, vehicles, and/or guests.
Minimum Requirements:
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
