As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entrances and exits, manage badge access, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and routine patrols. This role involves interacting with visitors and employees, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining detailed records using computer or tablet systems. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry to the logistics and distribution location.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering or leaving the premises to support site-specific security-related requirements.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal's protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activities, and/or hazards according to Allied Universal and client guidelines.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, supporting orderly evacuation or access control during incidents.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management, law enforcement, and/or site representatives as required regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience in access control and/or badge management is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
