You will manage entry points, verify credentials and badges, monitor access activity, assist visitors and employees, and help maintain a secure environment through professional communication and customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor and driver logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
- Control access to restricted areas, loading docks, warehouses, and vehicle gates in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, loading areas, and access points to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
