You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through strong communication and customer service. - Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential verification steps, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, process visitor and contractor check-in and/or check-out, and document access-related activity to help support security-related operations at the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, gate areas, and perimeter, with attention to restricted areas, equipment zones, and other sensitive parts of the location.
- Help to deter unauthorized access by verifying identification, reviewing access permissions, and/or observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering or leaving the site.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
