Security Officer Driver Reception Coordination Job in Borough of Quakertown, Pennsylvania

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor alarm panels, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour
Access Control/Badge Experience (B201): Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges.
Alarm Panel Experience (B202): Experience with alarm panel systems is required. Candidates should be knowledgeable about the operation and troubleshooting of alarm systems.
Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204): Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets for various tasks, including data entry, communication, and accessing company systems.
CPR Certification: Candidates must possess a valid CPR certification. Free training is provided by Allied Universal to ensure all employees are equipped with essential life-saving skills.
Customer Service Experience (B219): A background in customer service is essential. Candidates should have experience in interacting with clients and providing excellent service.
Loss Prevention (B210): Candidates should have knowledge or experience in loss prevention strategies and practices to help safeguard company assets.
Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123):
All candidates must possess a valid driver's license that meets the criteria outlined in our Driver Policy (C123). This includes ensuring that the license is not expired, suspended, or revoked. Candidates will be required to provide a copy of their driver's license during the onboarding process.Valid Driver's License - In Job State (C124):
Additionally, candidates must hold a valid driver's license specific to the state in which they will be employed, as per our state-specific Driver Policy (C124). This ensures that all employees are legally permitted to operate a vehicle in their respective job locations. A copy of the state-issued driver's license must also be submitted for verification.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and associates by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor the front desk area, greet and screen visitors, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate visitor and delivery logs.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Monitor access points and communications systems, documenting security-related activities and escalating unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Support a professional, organized reception environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and directing visitors, drivers, and contractors to appropriate locations.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
