Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour
Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing employee badges.Alarm Panel Experience (B202)
Experience with alarm panel systems is required. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of alarm system operations, troubleshooting, and response protocols.Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
Proficiency in using computers or tablets is essential. Candidates must be comfortable navigating software applications and performing basic troubleshooting.CPR Certification (B205)
Candidates must possess a valid CPR certification. Allied Universal offers free training for candidates who do not currently hold this certification.Customer Service Experience (B219)
A background in customer service is preferred. Candidates should be able to demonstrate effective communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent service.Loss Prevention (B210)
Experience in loss prevention strategies and practices is required. Candidates should be knowledgeable about theft prevention, inventory control, and safety protocols.

What You'll Do:
- Provide a welcoming, professional front-desk presence for employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a logistics and distribution location.
- Verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials; maintain visitor logs; issue access badges according to site-specific policies.
- Monitor entry activity, access-control systems, and security-related communications, reporting unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Provide customer service by answering questions, directing guests to designated areas, and communicating site entry procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and contacting emergency services and/or site leadership when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
