Security Officer Access Checkpoint

As a Security Officer Access Checkpoint in Bossier City, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, and support a welcoming environment for residents and guests. This role combines visible presence, routine patrols, and clear communication to help reduce security-related concerns. - Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
- Monitor access points and help to manage entry and exit activity by verifying credentials, guest authorizations, deliveries, and/or visitor information in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports related to visitor activity, contractor access, incidents, and/or unusual conditions observed during the shift.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the property, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
