Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Site in Boston MA
Sunday - Thursday 11 PM - 7 AM
Starting Pay is $25.88 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training
Candidate Must Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Related Experience
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Watch in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, traffic-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions when required, and support the protection of restricted areas, equipment, and/or government property in accordance with post orders.
- Coordinate with supervisors, local law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel during alarms, medical incidents, hazardous conditions, and other security-related events while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
