Position Overview

Allied Universal Enhanced Protection Services is seeking a highly qualified, professional, and physically fit Armed Security Response Team (SRT) Agent to provide protective security services for a designated client in Boston, MA.

The SRT Agent operates in a dynamic, high-contact corporate security environment, protecting personnel, property, and organizational reputation through proactive threat detection, risk assessment, and rapid-response capabilities. The ideal candidate possesses strong operational judgment, emotional intelligence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond professionally to evolving security situations.

SRT Agents are expected to maintain a low-profile presence while remaining vigilant, observant, and prepared to communicate timely, accurate information to the appropriate security stakeholders. This position requires a strong commitment to professionalism, customer service, confidentiality, teamwork, and continuous operational readiness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide professional armed protection for designated personnel, property, and client interests.
  • Maintain situational awareness and identify potential security threats, risks, and vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct ongoing security assessments and implement appropriate protective measures.
  • Perform static and mobile security assignments, including rapid-response duties as directed.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, client representatives, and security program stakeholders.
  • Maintain regular communication with SRT management and provide timely operational updates.
  • Safeguard sensitive information, personnel, facilities, and confidential client matters.
  • Follow established procedures, contractual requirements, and the designated Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Participate in ongoing training, operational readiness activities, and professional development.
  • Coordinate with local law enforcement and relevant emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Operate motor vehicles safely and in compliance with applicable laws and organizational policies.
  • Prepare accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and after-action reports.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to unarmed security personnel regarding professional security practices.
  • Support a culture of de-escalation, conflict resolution, customer service, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a U.S. citizen.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Have a valid U.S. driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Have a minimum of five years of relevant experience in law enforcement, the military, or armed security.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of security operations, threat assessment, and protective security practices.
  • Demonstrate a high level of handgun proficiency and meet all applicable firearms qualification requirements.
  • Hold current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.
  • Be able to obtain and maintain all required California security registrations, permits, firearms credentials, and other applicable licenses.
  • Maintain the physical fitness, professional appearance, and operational readiness necessary to perform assigned duties.
  • Be available to work scheduled 8-hour shifts and accommodate nights, weekends, holidays, and schedule changes when required.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication, analytical thinking, and report-writing skills.
  • Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrate integrity, sound judgment, discretion, reliability, and the ability to protect confidential information.

Special Qualifications

Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to:

  • Provide professional guidance, tactical oversight, coaching, and mentoring to unarmed security personnel.
  • Communicate effectively with corporate leadership, clients, colleagues, law enforcement, and other stakeholders.
  • Exercise sound judgment and remain composed in stressful or rapidly changing situations.
  • De-escalate conflicts through professional communication, crisis intervention, and appropriate problem-solving techniques.
  • Balance security responsibilities with a diplomatic, service-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrate emotional intelligence, adaptability, teamwork, leadership, and organizational discipline.
  • Brief, explain, and reinforce security procedures and policies clearly and professionally.

Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous medical training beyond the minimum required certifications.
  • Additional professional education, relevant training, or industry certifications.
  • Experience in corporate security, executive protection, or other protective security assignments.
  • Training or experience in de-escalation, crisis intervention, and community-oriented problem-solving.
  • Foreign language proficiency.
  • Experience preparing detailed incident documentation, operational summaries, and after-action reports.

Schedule and Work Environment

This is a full-time position involving a minimum of five 8-hour shifts per week, generally Monday through Friday. While the primary schedule is weekday-based, operational requirements may necessitate work during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Candidates must be flexible, dependable, and prepared to perform both static and mobile security duties in a professional, client-facing environment.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a disciplined and service-oriented security professional who combines operational competence with excellent interpersonal skills. They understand that effective protective security requires more than physical readiness: it requires sound judgment, discretion, proactive observation, clear communication, teamwork, and the ability to build trust while maintaining a strong security posture.

Candidates should be committed to continuous learning, professional conduct, responsible decision-making, and delivering exceptional service to the client.
