What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report suspicious behavior, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Support cash handling and other sensitive operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and reporting security-related concerns in a timely manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
- Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
